So much of what we do is aimed at our DESTINATION. Our focus is always on the end of the trip, where we want to be, when we want to get there, etc. But when you really think about it, life is really about the JOURNEY. In fact, it's one continuous journey, and living is all about the experience of undertaking the journey. So even if the destination changes, we are always moving, striving, searching, finding, loving, etc. There's an infinite list of verbs that apply.
As I sit here this fine Wednesday morning in late August 2009, the journey I'm undertaking is one of leading an energetic group of youth from my church as we explore our faith using the concept of pilgrimage. I'll explain more later... in the meantime, lots of prayer is required.
